Air Conditioning

WATTEC install split system air conditioners which consist of two sections, one inside the home and one outside, with the sections being connected by refrigerant piping. Split system air conditioners are available as reverse cycle or cooling only. Split systems can be wall, floor or roof mounted, depending on the space where they are being installed.

Multi-head split systems can air condition multiple rooms using only the one outdoor unit. These systems are best used when there is limited outdoor space or where there is not enough ceiling space to install ducted air conditioning. Using a multi split system means that you have control over the air conditioning in each room, saving you money in running costs and minimising wastage. By reducing the number of outdoor units necessary, this system lets you install additional indoor units at any time more economically.

Ducted air conditioning is the quietest and most versatile of all air conditioning systems and is often the most practical choice for large areas where air distribution becomes beyond the reach of split system units.

Ducted systems are zoned so that different areas of the house can be heated or cooled at different times.

The Outdoor Inverter Unit that provides the power, is positioned outside your home, while the Indoor Fan Coil Unit is positioned out of sight in either the ceiling, wall or floor. Warm or cool air is then filtered and returned to the Indoor Fan Coil Unit through the Return Air Grille.
